I just called an insurance company to see if I could replace my COBRA. They said none of their policies covered gastric bypass, and that they wouldn't even cover me, despite never having a lapse in coverage. I'm too fat for them to cover. I'm too fat for them to cover, but they won't help me lose weight. WHAT THE FUCK GOOD ARE YOU??

Health insurance crap has been ruining enough lives and pissing people off enough for years that someday soon there's going to be a reckoning. In the meantime, you are not alone, and we'll help you get through this.

I agree with both Tessa and Dee. But I agree you have a right to be down and pissed and whatever you are feeling right now. Feelings are feelings they just are what they are. You are amazing. The health insurance is a stupid F***** for attempting to label you something and not helping you rectify their issue so you can get covered. You would think they would want customer. I guess I am wrong.
